Vidya Jyoti – Scholarship and Fee Concession Policy

As per the performance in the Ingenious Quest Examination or the Admission cum Scholarship Test, fee concessions will be awarded as follows:

  • Defence Personnel / Ex-Servicemen / Engineer / Doctor / Teacher ward
  • Single Parent ward
  • Sibling of Ex-Vidya Jyoti or current Vidya Jyoti student
  • Ex-Vidya Jyoti students
  • Above 90% marks in PCM/PCB in Class 12 Board Examinations
  • A1 grade in Mathematics and Science in Class 10 Examination
  • Above 90% marks in Mathematics and Science in Class 10 Examination
  • SC/ST category students
  • Above 95% marks in PCM/PCB in Class 12 Board Examinations
  • A1 grade in all subjects in Class 10 Examination
  • Above 95% marks in Mathematics and Science in Class 10 Examination
  • For the following categories:
  • NTSE / KVPY Scholars
  • Economically Weaker Section (EWS) wards

Special Concession for Competitive Rank Holders

  • Up to Rank 5,000 → 80% concession
  • Rank 5,001 – 20,000 → 70% concession
  • Up to Rank 5,000 → 75% concession
  • Rank 5,001 – 20,000 → 65% concession
  • Rank 20,001 – 50,000 → 40% concession
  • Up to Rank 5,000 → 75% concession
  • Rank 5,001 – 20,000 → 60% concession

Notes

  • A candidate can avail only one scholarship or concession (whichever is highest).
  • Supporting documents must be attached at the time of claiming any concession or scholarship.
  • All concessions/scholarships apply to tuition fees only.
  • An additional 5% scholarship will be given to girl students.
